Areas to be included in Reflection
Criteria for Excellent Reflection
Format of reflection
  1. 1. Date of reflection is listed
  2. 2. Number of hours is listed at the beginning of the reflection
  3. 3. Type of hours that you are earning in this activity ( is this C, A, or S)
Integration of Goal
  1. 1. Goal is referred to in the reflection and can be easily located by reader
  2. 2. Comments, thoughts, concerns, attitudes and feelings about achieving this goal are included in student reflection
  3. 3. Challenges in meeting goal are reflected upon and the problem solving techniques are shared when pertinent
  4. 4. Reference to this being a stretch and how participating in this activity is stretching student must be included in reflections at least 1 time per month
Reference to Outcomes
  1. 1. Reflection is written in the correct outcome journal section
  2. 2. Reflection refers to the specific outcome and reflection includes information about well students has been able to work toward this/these outcomes by providing examples, anecdotes, evidence about how they are achieving or demonstrating outcomes
